Join Our Team at Perseverance Preparatory School
As a teacher at Perseverance Preparatory School, you will be the instrument by which the school carries out its mission to educate all grade 5-8 scholars for success in competitive colleges and professional careers.
Perseverance Preparatory School opened its doors during the fall of 2019 and added a grade level each year. As a teacher, you will help Perseverance Preparatory School achieve its mission and ensure that all scholars are Focused, Intrepid, Excellent, Responsible, Community, Engaged (F.I.E.R.C.E) Leaders.
In order to ensure their academic success, our students need a team of highly qualified teachers who are able to both remediate and accelerate student learning to ensure they are able to read at or above grade level by the end of the eighth grade. In order to support our students and obtain the results we hope to achieve, each teacher will have an instructional coach who will observe them in the classroom weekly, thereby allowing for immediate growth and improvement.
Every minute of every lesson matters. In order to maximize learning time, Perseverance Prep will ensure every instructional decision is data driven, so that our instructional time is spent strategically. We believe in a highly structured school culture, as we understand that clear systems foster a discipline within the school that in turn provides students a calm and nurturing environment in which to thrive.
